This is your chance to spend an hour with Natasha Preskey, The Independent’s Senior Lifestyle Reporter, for an informal chat to find out more about her role, her career in journalism and how she got started. Natasha, who grew up on the Island, won the gold award for campaign journalism at the MHP 30 under 30 Awards in 2018 for her work on mental health and experimental drug trials.
Natasha works as a freelance writer and editor, covering topics of health, science, and gender, and has had her work published by Vice, Elle, Men’s Health, Refinery29 and many more. Natasha also previously worked as a Senior Journalist for BBC Three, writing, editing, and commissioning features around topics such as health, relationships, and social issues affecting young people.
