Are you interested in DJing and Producing music? We’re excited to launch Brave Sounds! Starting with fortnightly DJ drop-in workshops so you can learn how to DJ and mix. You don’t need any prior experience and you will learn how to DJ and mix both digital and vinyl.
These workshops will be hosted by Ed Eldridge, Ed is a Music Producer and DJ, he is the Founder and resident DJ at Rough Draft, a club night based in Bristol. Having DJ’d for over 19 years, his record collection accounts for that. He has performed at festivals throughout the UK (FM, Love Saves The Day to name a couple), as well as internationally at Meadows in the Mountains (Bulgaria) and Kala Festival (Albania). Ed’s releases can be found mainly on vinyl on labels Peach Discs, Banoffee Pies and Dr Banana. There will also be professional working DJs as guest hosts in some sessions.
The workshops will be hosted at Ventnor Exchange, and we will supply all the equipment to allow you to work on professional DJ and mixing equipment. All levels of experience welcome, this could be the first time you’ve ever DJ’d!
Opportunity Date & Time: We’re currently on a summer break but we’ll be back in September! You’ll receive an email reminder ahead of each session.
Practical info: To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in the box below. We’ll be in touch once we’ve confirmed the new dates. We supply all the equipment needed.
