We’re offering free tickets to Brighton based artist Boogaloo Stu’s comical and silly cabaret show – Much Ado About Bingo. This performance is taking place at Ventnor Fringe Festival on Wednesday 27th July.
The show features Stu’s 70s-throwback comedy character Derek Daniels, inspired by TV
quiz show hosts of the era, who invites the audience to play a game of Bingo – but not as
you know it!
Combining classic 70s tunes, Shakespeare, and tales of long-suffering wife Bev, this performance is the beginning of a year-long exchange between LGBTQ+ creatives on the Isle of Wight and in Brighton.
Brave Island will be working together with Boogaloo Stu and Island based artist Ladypat on this Queer Hearts project, a series of activities over the next year celebrating queer culture involving workshops, exhibitions, and even a trip to Brighton. You’ll get to have a chat with both artists after watching this show. Keep an eye out for more information about this project coming soon!
