Always wanted to start your own theatre company but not sure where to begin? Quay Arts and DEADMAN Theatre are running a series of four day-long workshops exploring Acting, Directing, Writing and Production, designed to set you up with the skills you need to start your own theatre company.
Devised by DEADMAN, these workshops take place over four days in February and will be delivered by active, industry professionals, providing practical and insightful insider knowledge. Brave Island are excited to offer a fully funded place on all four workshops, meaning you can gain all this knowledge for free!
The workshops are aimed at 18-30 year olds who are passionately interested in and/or actively taking part in the performing arts and who want to connect with other new, emerging, and established creatives. This is a great opportunity to learn, network and kickstart your career in the industry. This short programme is part of a wider partnership between DEADMAN, Quay Arts and MAST Mayflower Studios, with the aim of developing and linking mainland and Island talent and exploring pathways for further development in the future.
