Interested in learning more about laser cutting, CNC or design work? We’ve teamed up with KReative Studios to plan a special visit to their studio to find out more about design manufacturing and even have a go ourselves.
KReative Studios, sister company of the London based CutLaserCut design manufacturing company, is based at the Green Hangar at Sandown Airport, specialising in making their clients’ ideas become a reality. Working with creatives from art, architecture, engineering, fashion and design industries, each project is bespoke. KReative Studios offers laser cutting and engraving, CNC work, fabrication, finishing, design work and installation to it’s clients based here on the island, as well as nationally and internationally.
We have planned a trip to the Green Hangar to find out more about laser cutting and how it can be used across lots of different materials and disciplines. On the day, you will have an opportunity to design something to be engraved on the machines, get a tour of the Hangar and learn about different materials and techniques.
If you have a design in mind or would like to create something before you come, to engrave on to a coaster, keyring etc, draw your design in thick black ink on white paper clearly so we can scan it and vectorise it for you.
