Exciting Apprenticeship Opportunity
Want to work in the Creative Industries but not sure where to start? Artswork are currently looking for a new apprentice on the Isle of Wight! This is a fantastic opportunity for somebody who wants to earn a wage whilst also learning valuable skills and getting their foot in the door of the industry.
You will be based on the Isle of Wight and provide event and administrative support for Artswork’s Creative Placemaking Programme and projects working in communities, schools and with young people. Find out more information about this role by clicking here.
Future Works – Discover Creative Careers
Whether you’re a crafter looking to turn your hobby into a business, a musician trying to find your future bandmates or even if you are a simply a creative person curious about meeting and hearing from other like-minded people on the Isle of Wight. Future Works is back and made for people just like you!
We’re often asked by young creatives how to get your foot in the door, get feedback on a piece of work, or just where to go to meet some new people on the Island! So we created Future Works so that young creatives would have somewhere to go for all of this and more! This month, we’ll hear from Jewellery Designer & Maker Adrienne Wroath, Designer & Art Director Sean Turner and General Manager of CutLaserCut & KReative Studios Kim Purton.
