An online community for young artists to share ideas feedback about each others work.
Ever feel like you’re just shouting in to an echo chamber when making your artwork? Maybe you’re not getting the comments on insta or you’re tired of your family saying “that’s nice dear” when all you really want are some real juicy provoking feedback from like minded minded artists?
In that case it might be time to join an art critique group, and we’ve got you covered. Brave Island’s Art Crit Group is a positive and supportive space suited for those who have may have not taken part in a crit before.
What are ‘Crits’? A group of artists gathering to present their work and hear feedback from others with different points of view.
What Are Crits for? They’re useful for developing new ideas or getting inspiration to finish an artwork that you might be stuck on. Crits are an important part of Fine Art or Graphic Design Degrees and Foundation courses so if you’re thinking of going to art school in future this session is a great introduction for what to expect. Current BA/ MA students or Graduates are also welcome to join to get their feedback fix.
Practical Info: This session will be delivered virtually via zoom. We will send you a link to the video call.
Opportunity Date & Time: Sunday 13th September, 1pm – 2.30pm
