Think you’d make a good interviewer? This could be the brief for you! We’ve assembled a group of creative professionals who have agreed to be featured in a series of short films offering their top tips and advice for Brave Island users on getting a job in the creative industries. How did they do it? The films will be featured on our blog and through our social media covering topics such as ‘How To Write A Great CV’ and ‘How to Market Yourself’.
We’re looking for a confident individual to help us write and ask our guests questions, as well as helping manage the shoot on the day. Even better, you’ll be paid £10/hour for your time.
This is a great chance to practice your interviewing skills, and for anyone with an interest in journalism or perhaps even presenting. You don’t need any technical knowledge about filmmaking.
These videos are being made as part of a project called ‘Supporting Young Minds’ with Independent Arts and Artswork which is all about supporting young people’s mental health through creativity.
Practical info: The interviews will be filmed at Ventnor Exchange, we’ll send you all the details beforehand so you can prepare for the interviews and we can help with this too. The shoot will last approx 5 hours. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in this opportunity and give an example of a question you would ask.
Opportunity Date & Time: Thursday 2nd March, 10am – 3pm.
