This is an opportunity for an aspiring producer to gain experience working on a theatre production. You do not need any previous experience but you must be hard-working and willing to learn. Ability to write a professional email and a talent for the creative arts is desirable.
This is an exciting new theatre production based on the incredible story of the Freshwater 5, a group of local fisherman who claim to have been wrongly convicted of smuggling. (Read more) The show is supported by Arts Council England. The role will require communicating with partners and reaching out to new ones, attending rehearsals where you will gain first hand experience in a professional environment, and organising/scheduling where required. As well as gaining invaluable experience, this is a paid role of a flat fee of £500.

If you’re selected for the role then the commitments will take place from Monday 11th October – Saturday 20th November, with the bulk of the work during rehearsals between Monday 1st November – Saturday 20th November, outside of that time the role is remote and can be more flexible.
You will be paid a flat fee of £500 on the completion of this placement.
Rehearsals will take place at Quay Arts which is located at Sea Street, Newport, PO30 5BW between Monday 1st November – Saturday 20th November. With tasks outside of these dates completed remotely.
