We are seeking three young artists to bring bold, eye-catching artwork to life in the Kashmir Cafe garden at this year’s Isle of Wight Festival (Quay Arts‘ stage). This is a unique opportunity to design and paint large-scale, colourful pieces that capture the creativity of Quay Arts for a massive festival audience.
To prepare your artwork, you will participate in two sessions at Kreative Studios (Sandown Airport), where you will work alongside stencil and graffiti artists. All materials are provided, and you will receive guidance in learning new techniques, such as freehand work and making your own laser-cut stencils to create your artwork on panels.
You will receive a weekend festival wristband and have the opportunity to join the decor team to hang your artwork on-site, gaining behind-the-scenes knowledge from experienced festival workers. This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in creating large scale artwork, murals or festival decor.
Practical info: This opportunity is open to those aged 18-25. The artworks will be produced on the 13/14th June at Kreative Studios (based at Sandown Airport) ready for the Festival the following week. To apply, please tell us why you’d like to take part and share your vision for the artwork. You can either describe your concept in the box below or upload a sketch of your idea.
Opportunity Date & Time: Saturday 13th & Sunday 14th June, times TBC.
