We have an exciting opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Isle of Wight Festival as one of the event photographers for boutique stage Kashmir Cafe!
You’ll be required to capture not just the performers on stage, but the ambience, atmosphere, and characters around Kashmir Cafe. Your photos will be used on Kashmir Cafe’s social media channels as a record of this year’s event, and may be used in future promotional posts and materials. You’re welcome to use the experience and your shots as part of your CV and portfolio.
You will need to be available on all four show days and be able to work independently to ensure as many of the acts on their stage are photographed as possible. This is an open-ended opportunity and you can choose to capture as much of the venue and lineup as you like, however you are expected to be ‘on duty’ for at least an average of 5 hours each event day.
As you will be working independently, this opportunity would suit someone with prior event photography experience and confidence to get front and side of stage to capture the desired shots. This is a voluntary role, but you will receive a full weekend wristband.
Practical info: The Kashmir Cafe team will need your finished photos in both high-resolution and online-suitable formats within two weeks of the end of the assignment, these should be submitted to Brave Island. This opportunity is open to those aged 18-25 by 19th June only. You will need your own camera/equipment. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part, as well as any previous relevant experience you’ve had. You can also leave examples of your work.
Opportunity Date & Time: Thursday 19th – Sunday 22nd June.
