Our friends at Quay Arts are looking to create some fun, engaging activities for children and families to do during lockdown. They’re looking for creative ideas that people can do at home, and they’ve offered Brave Island a £150 fee for the person with the best idea to make it happen!
Some examples of ideas could be drawings for colouring in, a video tutorial on how to make something, a game that people can play or a book of daily challenges!
There is no specific theme and we’re open to all different ideas. You just need to remember that the activities need to be appropriate for children and families, and that people don’t need any specialist equipment or knowledge to take part.
The winning idea will be given a fee of £150 to create your content for families to try out!
How big should the activities be?
If your ideas involve creating worksheets, aim for between 2-6 sides of A4. If using video/audio, aim for 10-30 mins, probably split into smaller sections/videos.
There is a small amount of equipment available for use from Quay Arts if you need this to create your ideas. (such as SLR camera/tripod).
This opportunity has been supported by the Daisy Rich Trust
