We’ve teamed up with theatre company The Bare Project to offer a Production Assistant Placement on an exciting outdoor art installation which will hold a variety of events over a couple of weeks in Ventnor.
Join The Bare Project team for their first week of The People’s Palace of Possibility! Support an exciting, professional team of designers, artists, and performers to build The Palace – a multi-disciplinary outdoor art installation. Gain hands-on experience supporting the team with sound design, set design, production, and front of house.
This is a week-long placement, with expenses paid at a rate of £100 per day. The paid placement runs from Tuesday 30th April – Saturday 4th May (five days), where you will be helping with the get-in and build through to the opening weekend.
The Palace will be at Ingrams Yard in Ventnor until Sunday 19th May hosting a wide variety of events so if you would like to volunteer at any other points during the rest of the period then you are welcome to.
This is a brilliant opportunity for anyone wanting to get involved backstage with arts events, you’ll have a great overview of the kinds of tasks involved, as well as trying your hand at a variety of skills. You don’t need any prior experience, just an enthusiasm to learn and work as part of a team.
