Ventnor Exchange is hosting an exhibition celebrating album artwork for Record Store Day. This is a day where independent record shops and the format of vinyl is celebrated across the world. We’re challenging you to redesign your favourite album artwork to feature in this exhibition, and the winning design will receive a £100 voucher to be spent at Ventnor Exchange.
Think of the most iconic album artworks, what makes them memorable? What makes them unique? We’re looking for interesting new designs for existing albums, they can be from the past or present and any genre, but think about how your artwork relates to the music. It can be photography, graphic design, illustration, painting, it just needs to match the dimensions of a vinyl cover (31cm square). We’ll choose a few designs to feature in the exhibition, but our favourite design will also win a £100 voucher which can be spent on records, record players and accessories.

Practical info: Your design can be in any medium, but should be 31cm square to fit in a vinyl frame. If your artwork is selected, then you’ll need to bring it in to Ventnor Exchange by Sunday 17th April.
Opportunity Date & Time: Your work will be required by Sunday 17th April and the exhibition will open on Saturday 23rd April.
