Are you an aspiring critic? Or just fancy an evening out? We’re looking for someone to review Seamas Carey’s comedic show ‘Help! I Think I’m a Nationalist’, touring on the Isle of Wight in February, in return for two free tickets for you and a friend!
Seamas Carey’s controversial sell-out comedy ‘Help! I Think I’m a Nationalist’ explores identity, second homes, xenophobia and bagpipes in Cornwall and beyond. Covering themes of belonging and culture wars, there’s lots of similarities between Cornwall, which is covered in the show, and other rural places like the Isle of Wight.
Your review should be approx 500 words and delivered to us within a week of the performance so it can be published on Brave Island’s blog.
Practical info: This performance will take place at Apollo Theatre in Newport. You will receive a free ticket for yourself and a friend. Your review will be required within a week of the performance. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in this opportunity. You can include links to any examples of your previous work if you’d like.
Opportunity Date & Time: Friday 16th February, 7:30 – 8:45pm
