Fancy yourself as a critic? We’re looking for a budding writer to review a new theatre production on Saturday 26th or Sunday 27th June. We’ve got two tickets to give away for you and a friend, plus a chance to meet the cast.
From the creators of The HandleBards comes a fantastically wild(e) new production, ripping up the rule book and celebrating silliness. With Slapstick Picnic, you can have your cake and eat it!
The Slapstick Picnic would like to cordially invite you to its inaugural summer tea party, where marvellous feats of performance and culinary capers await. Over tea and cucumber sandwiches, we ask that you prepare to witness the impossible – the entirety of Oscar Wilde’s classic play of manners, affairs and handbags being performed by just two rather dashing entertainers.
Your review should be approx 500 words and delivered to us within a week of the performance so it can be published on Ventnor Exchange’s website News blog.
Practical info: This performance will take place at Ventnor Park, in an outdoors socially distanced space. You will receive a free ticket for yourself and a friend. Your review will be required within a week of the performance. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in this opportunity, and which performance you would like to attend. You can include links to any examples of your previous work if you’d like.
Opportunity Date & Time: Saturday 26th June, 7pm – 8.30pm, or Sunday 27th June, 7pm – 8.30pm.
