Got a pitch idea you want to try out in a market? We’ve secured a free pitch for you to sell your work at the pop up Christmas Market at Ingrams Yard. Taken on last year by local arts organisation Ventnor Exchange, Ingrams Yard hosted its first market in December 2023 and these continued successfully between April and September this year. There will be a mixture of stalls including crafts, food and drink, and vintage clothes, making it a vibrant space to host a stall!
Your stall will be at the Christmas market on Saturday 14th December, so you can expect there to be lots of people shopping for gifts. Got an idea but not sure where to start? Our team will be available to offer support, share ideas, and help you design your stall in advance. We can also help with some money too, for example to purchase some stock if you’re an artist who needs to print your work but the upfront cost is a barrier.
The work you sell must be original and made by you, for example illustrations, pottery, jewellery, or crocheted items. This stall isn’t to resell items you’ve bought like old clothes or homeware. You might want to team up with a friend and share a stall if you don’t feel like you have enough stock to sell by yourself, just let us know if this is the case in your application. The best bit? You get to keep all the money you make from anything you sell at the market.
