Are you interested in creating a podcast? As part of Brave Sounds, we are hosting a podcast course. Over six sessions you will learn everything you need to know about podcasting, through recording, editing and releasing to the public.
For this course you will work in a small group to produce a podcast on a topic of the group’s choice, but it should be based around arts and culture. Part of the workshop will take place during the Ventnor Fringe Festival, giving you the chance to interview artists and performers, and review shows for content for the podcast.
The workshop will be hosted by Matt Rockley, radio presenter on Atmosphere Radio and Podcast Radio. Matt as presented on several radio stations in the South and worked at Kiss FM in London, as well as mentored apprentices at the BBC. Having worked in the radio and audio content industry for nearly 20 years, Matt will teach you everything you need to know to produce a podcast, including using industry standard equipment and software.
Practical info: To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in the box below. This opportunity will take place at the Ventnor Exchange, we will supply all of the equipment needed. There will be 6 sessions, it’s important that you attend every one to be able to produce the podcast.
