Your chance to talk with Tony Collins, who has worked in television for over 25 years. Tony has worked mainly as a film editor but also as a producer and director.
After leaving film school, he worked in advertising and then moved into producing film trailers for Disney and Miramax as well as Promos for ITV and Channel 5. He later moved into long form factual television as a broadcast editor. Since 2005 most of his work has been for the BBC as an editor on a variety of factual programmes, most notably The One Show, where he has been part of the team since 2007.
In 2015 Tony set up EEL Productions where he produced and directed an award winning short film about cyclist Eileen Sheridan and another short film about Jazz drummer Clifford Jarvis.
As Tony has worked in a number of different roles in television for many years, this is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about working in television to ask lots of questions and gain some new insight into the industry.
