Your chance to gain advice and have an informal chat with director and producer Bruce Webb, who has been working in the film industry since he started as a floor runner while at University in the 90s. Bruce then worked as a producer, taking up film and TV drama directing in 2005.
Throughout the last 20 years, Bruce has been directing film and TV drama alongside directing corporates and commercials for businesses. Bruce has directed two feature films – Social Suicide (2012) and Be All and End All (2010) which won multiple awards including the Variety Critics Choice award.
He has also directed drama for Channel 4, Britbox, the BBC, and TV3 (Ireland). As a producer he has worked on a number of UK feature films such as Martyrs Lane, Alec, Breakfast With Jonny Wilkinson and USA co-productions Death At A Funeral, Haven, and Copying Beethoven. Outside of TV he directs commercial films for business and lectures at Universities as well as working as an assessor for the film and TV government agency Screen Skills.
As Bruce has worked in the film industry for many years, this is a great opportunity for anyone wanting to learn more about working in film to ask lots of questions and gain some new insight into the film industry, directing, or producing.
