This is an exciting opportunity to gain some valuable experience capturing live gigs alongside a professional photographer. We’re looking for an aspiring photographer to shoot the bands playing at Ears Peeled’s November Fest gig at Strings Bar & Venue.

Headlining this gig is punk trio Grandma’s House and indie rock group Wych Elm, with support from local artists Ugly Ozo, Mack Whitwood, and Chicks.

You will be joined by professional photographer Julian Winslow for this opportunity, so that you can learn how best to take photos in a live gig setting, and how to make the most out of your camera. This is a great opportunity for those wanting to try out photographing gigs or to learn more about it from a professional.

You should submit a final gallery of around 10 images to Ventnor Exchange within a week of the performance.

Practical info: This performance will take place at Strings Bar & Venue. You will receive a free ticket for yourself and a friend. Your photos will be required within a week of the performance. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in this opportunity. You can include links to any examples of your previous work if you’d like. This opportunity is for those aged 16+.

Opportunity Date & Time: Friday 12th November, 7.30pm – 11pm.
