For our next Monthly Skills Workshop, Jim’s Woodcraft is offering a fun and friendly introduction to whittling session. Using local sustainably sourced wood from his woodland, Jim will show you how to use a variety of tools to make either a rustic coat hook, magic wand or butter spreader.
Whether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience, this workshop will guide you through the essentials of wood whittling, offering a fun and relaxing environment to learn and create. You’ll work with Jim to learn the basics, from selecting the right tools and wood to mastering safety techniques and basic carving cuts. These skills can be developed to go on to make all sorts of things.
This workshop is a great opportunity to learn a new skill, meet some new people, and have a fun afternoon doing something a little different!
