Aged 18-25 and interested in content creation, journalism, or live events? This is your chance to go behind the scenes at Ventnor Fringe, watch shows for free, meet performers and crew, and create content! As a member of the Fringe Review Team you’ll work in a small group to create digital content about the event to be shared to Ventnor Fringe audiences.
Over the course of the festival you’ll get to watch loads of different shows, as well as meeting artists, crew, staff, and performers who you’ll have the chance to interview. You’ll be using your time at Ventnor Fringe to put together content for the festival’s social media channels and website.

We will supply some mini microphones and a phone for filming, so you don’t need any of your own equipment to take part. However if you are a keen photographer or videographer you’re more than welcome to bring your own gear. There’s a bunch of different ways you can get involved as part of the Fringe Review Team, whether that’s by filming, taking photos, interviewing, writing reviews, or editing content, so just let us know which area you’re particularly interested in.
Created by Ventnor Exchange, Ventnor Fringe is the Isle of Wight’s largest arts festival. For 10 days in July every year, the Island’s tiny southernmost town is totally transformed into a whole world of pop up venues hosting comedy, music, circus, theatre, exhibitions, and so much more.
Practical info: This opportunity takes place at Ventnor Fringe. You’ll be using Ventnor Exchange as a base, where each day you attend you’ll meet with a member of the Brave Island team. To apply, please let us know why you would like to take part, what area you’re particularly interested in, and which days you are available.
Opportunity Date & Time: Flexible between Friday 18th July – Sunday 27th July, starting at 2pm each day you attend.
