Fancy yourself as a critic? We’re looking for a budding writer to review a new theatre production on Saturday 29th May. We’ve got two tickets to give away for you and a friend, plus a chance to meet the cast.
This will be Ventnor Exchange’s first live theatre show since the pandemic began! Created by The HandleBards (Who cycle to every venue!) this is a new unhinged and bonkers, laugh-out-loud version of Romeo & Juliet.
With music, mayhem and more costume changes than you can shake a spear at, expect the HandleBards usual irreverent, charming and hilarious style to come bursting onto the stage at Ventnor Park. Forget the tears and tragedy, and get ready for some live and wired Shakespeare as you’ve never seen it before!
Your review should be approx 500 words and delivered to us within a week of the performance so it can be published on Ventnor Exchange’s website News blog.
Practical info: This performance will take place at Ventnor Park, in an outdoors socially distanced space. You will receive a free ticket for yourself and a friend. Your review will be required within a week of the performance. To apply, please tell us why you would like to take part in this opportunity. You can include links to any examples of your previous work if you’d like.
Opportunity Date & Time: Saturday 29th May, 7pm – 8.30pm.
