An exciting way to kick off the new year! This is a free trip to Mayflower Theatre in Southampton to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time. We’ve got a handful of tickets up for grabs and we’ll cover the cost of the Red Jet too. This is a perfect opportunity to have a fun day out and meet new people.
Winner of the Olivier Award and Tony Award for Best Play, The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time is the stage adaptation of Mark Haddon’s international best-selling novel. You might have studied the book at school.
Fifteen year-old Christopher has an extraordinary brain. He is exceptional at maths, while everyday life presents some barriers. He has never ventured alone past the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. When he falls under suspicion of killing his neighbour’s dog, it takes him on a journey that upturns his world.

You will need to make your own way to the Red Jet in Cowes, we’ll take the Red Jet to Southampton and then walk 25 minutes to Mayflower Theatre. You will need to make your own way home from Cowes in the evening. We’ll meet at 12pm at the Red Jet terminal in Cowes, and return on the 5.35pm Red Jet from Southampton. This opportunity is supervised by two members of the Brave Island team.
