Whether you’re really missing live theatre, or you’ve never been before – this is a free trip to King’s Theatre in Southsea to see The Play That Goes Wrong. We’ve got a handful of tickets up for grabs and we’ll cover the cost of the Hovercraft too. This is the perfect opportunity to have a fun day out and meet new people.
Described as Fawlty Towers meets Noises Off, The Play That Goes Wrong is full of slapstick humour and currently on tour from the West End. The Cornley Drama Society are putting on a 1920s murder mystery, but as the title suggests, everything that can go wrong… does! As the accident prone thespians battle on against all the odds to reach their final curtain call, hilarious results ensue! You might have seen the BBC One Series adaptation ‘The Goes Wrong Show’.

You will need to make your own way to the Hovercraft in Ryde, we’ll take the Hovercraft to Southsea and then walk 20 minutes to Kings Theatre. You will also need to make your own way home from Ryde in the evening. We’ll meet at 12.45pm at the Hovercraft terminal in Ryde, and return on the 6.30pm Hovercraft from Southsea.
