On Saturday 10th October, Brave Island is hosting its very own Festival. But it is not really about us, it is all about celebrating the incredible young creatives living on the Isle of Wight, so we need your help to make it into something spectacular.
As part of the festival evening, we will be hosting our official ZINE LAUNCH event to celebrate the release of Brave Island Zine Volume 4 – CAN YOU HEAR US? It will follow the spirit of our previous launch events, but this time we are taking things to a whole new level. The entire evening will take place inside the Ventnor Exchange Arena, a giant pink and white circus tent fully equipped with a professional sound and lighting rig.
We are looking for local talent to take to the stage and showcase their work. If you are a band, solo musician, spoken word artist, or any other kind of performer who would like the opportunity to perform live on the night, we would love to hear from you!
Practical Info To apply, you or the majority of your performing group must be aged 14 to 25 and based on the Isle of Wight.
Tech specs and set times will be confirmed with successful applicants ahead of the event.
Opportunity Date and Time: The event takes place on Saturday 10th October at the Ventnor Exchange Arena, Sandham Gardens, Sandown, PO36 8AT. The Zine launch will take place between 6pm-9pm with set times TBC
