Are you a young creative looking for studio space where you can explore and develop your ideas? Department, an arts centre situated in the heart of Ryde, is offering 3-month residencies for creatives aged 18-25.
The Wilkins Studio (11.3 sq m) will be made available for free for 3 months. In exchange, the resident artist may like to offer workshops or find other ways of contributing to life at Department. You would have access to the studio from Monday – Saturday, 8.30am – 4pm.
Maybe you’re a visual artist who needs a messy studio space, or you’re running your own jewellery business and don’t have much space at home. This studio shares the first floor of the building with three other creatives so you’ll be working in an interesting environment amongst like minded people.
