Each month we round up five of the most exciting opportunities currently available for young people living on the Isle of Wight, whether that’s from Brave Island or from other organisations we think you should get involved with! Check out our top picks for September below.
Wood Whittling Workshop
This month, we’re bringing you a monthly skills workshop in Wood Whittling. You will work with Isle of Wight woodcraft expert James Bradley to create your very own beautiful and functional pieces made from locally sourced wood that you can take home to keep! Whether you’re a whittling wizard or an absolute beginner, this workshop will surely be a fun and relaxing experience.

You don’t need any drumming experience to take part. Yetta and Emma have a wealth of drumming experience through working with Samba bands such as RAW Samba at carnivals and events across the Island and beyond!
