Your chance to experience an entry level role on a real TV set, as part of a new 5 part drama being filmed for BritBox, a new subscription service created by the BBC and ITV to promote British talent.
Titled ‘The Beast Must Die” the series is a thriller set on the Isle of Wight and is an adaptation of a 1938 novel of the same name by Nicholas Blake, the pseudonym of Poet Laureate Cecil Day-Lewis, father of Daniel Day-Lewis. It tells the story of a grieving mother who infiltrates the life of the man she believes killed her son. The show will star Jared Harris, the Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated Chernobyl and The Crown actor.
Practical info: The production company are looking for energetic, hard-working and enthusiastic candidates who are happy to learn and get their hands dirty as Location Marshals. This role involves helping to get locations ready before and after the shooting team arrive, keeping the set tidy during the shoot and ensuring members of the public don’t walk into frame during exterior and drone scenes.
The production company’s preference is for candidates who can drive as you may need to be in different places throughout the day.
Opportunity Date & Time: Location Marshals are currently need on the following days: 12th, 28th, 29th & 30th October. This is a professional production and hours on set can be long, normally 12 hours (Food will be provided) This is a paid role of £120 per day.
