Are you interested in marketing, history, museums, or just fancy a trip off the Island? We’ve organised a FREE trip to Portsmouth Historic Dockyard to learn more about the types of roles involved in running such a large scale museum.
The day will consist of a guided tour of the Mary Rose Museum and one other ship, and meeting with some of the team to learn about what kind of jobs and careers there are in this kind of heritage attraction. We will meet with the marketing team and learn about the different kinds of media and advertising roles that they do, as well as getting the chance to feedback your own ideas about how to attract more young people to the museum.
This opportunity is perfect for anyone interested in marketing or media who wants to find out about the different kinds of places you can do this job, or anyone interested in history or heritage careers and wanting to find out about the different types of jobs available in this sector. Maybe you just fancy a trip off the Island and to do something different, just tell us below why you would like to come along to apply!
