Animation Trainee Finder
Screenskills, who support careers and training in film, TV, animation, VFX and games, have launched their Animation Trainee Finder scheme. They are welcoming applications from trainees wanting to pursue a career in animation, particularly focusing on entry-level roles in the departments where there are identified shortage roles, namely 2D animators, 3D animators, storyboard artists, stop motion animators, production assistants, art department assistants and editors.
Participants become part of an industry-recognised group of trainees and receive exclusive access to paid training placements across the UK.

Sounds of South Central
Applications are open now for Sounds of South Central, an amazing opportunity for artists from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight to take your music to the next level! You’ll receive mentorship from some of the biggest names in the South Coast music scene as well as support and studio time to make your next release your best yet!

Free Photography Workshops
In Focus are running free workshops for young people aged 16-25yrs to learn new skills, connect with others, explore their creativity and gain knowledge through arts-based activities. They are relaxed sessions with a range of creative skills including but not limited to: photography, creative writing, collage, painting, montage, animation, content creation, mixed media and more!

Pottery Making Workshop
Ever wanted to try out pottery or interested in learning some new skills? We’ve organised a free pottery making class especially for Brave Island members where you’ll learn how to throw pots on the wheel as well as sculpt, hand build and decorate in a variety of ways. All your work will be glazed and fired so you can take home everything you create!
