Rhythm & Hue Events are bringing a brand new event to Ventnor Exchange on April 17th. Their Paint from Reference x House Music night is an exciting addition to the Island’s night life scene, you can expect funky house beats from two local DJs and good vibes!

Paid Nature Reserves Placement
Are you looking for an opportunity to gain some work experience? The Nature Reserves Placement is a six month opportunity hosted by Hampshire and Isle of Wight Wildlife Trust. The placement holder will help the Trust with the management of their nature reserves, which are the areas of land they look after, in various locations across the Isle of Wight.
As one of our Heritage Work Experience Placements, this role is one day/week for 6 months, and you’ll be paid a stipend of £100/day. Find out more and apply here.

Would you like to go behind the scenes of the largest theatre on the South Coast? We’ve arranged a FREE guided tour of Mayflower in Southampton, followed by a workshop learning all about the different types of careers in theatre! You don’t need to have any prior experience, this could be the first time you’ve ever set foot in a theatre, or you could already be looking into a career in theatre.

£1500 Grants for Performance Projects!
Are you a creative aged between 14-21 and living in The Bay Area or Ventnor? Tide Nor Time Players, in Collaboration with Building the Bay have just announced the Bay Area Young Creatives Grant. This fund offers up to £1500 to support the development, production, and staging of new work in the fields of theatre, musical performance, comedy, drama, and other performing arts.
